Sick, sick, & more sick!!

Well, it would be safe to say we have had sickness in our house for 3 going on 4 weeks now and it's getting really OLD!  I am not talking your common cold here, I am talking the serious stuff (mean viruses that affect your respiratory system)  It started with P, then Cason, then P again, and then me.  Some doctor visits, urgent care trips, and even a night in the hospital and we are all 3 just getting over it with the help of some meds!
This post isn't just about the boys being sick but I am going to share with you what my experiences as a mom of sick babies has taught me over the past 3 years.
All you moms can relate to how I feel...as a parent you want nothing more than to protect your child from anything harmful, evil, dangerous, etc.  There are some (most) things that are out of your control.  I don't know how you could raise your children with out knowing God and knowing that He has a master plan and reason for all things.  Even though I, as Parker's mother, don't understand why he had to get so sick that Aaron and I had to rush him to the hospital at 4 in the morning because he was gasping for air, God had control the whole time!! These little things are preparing me for what is bigger to come...In their lifetime my babies are going to feel rejected, they will fail, they will have their hearts broken, they will get hurt, they will get sick a million times, and after it is all said and done I want them to know that God is always in control.
With that said, we have been hanging around the house lately in our pj's.  My monkeys (I mean boys) can't sit still even when they are sick so here's a sneak peak into how we entertain these restless ones!  I just laugh at the picture of Parker handing Cason the towel, telling him he was too messy and needed to wipe his face because it is usually the other way around (Cason is my neat freak and Parker is always dirty).
