Our evening with friends ~

The weather was perfect yesterday and we spent the evening over at friends' house ~ the kids played all night while we got to relax and catch up! These pictures are going to be held hostage for when these boys get older and see they throughly enjoyed Haley Jo's hot pink Barbie jeep!!!

Around our house ~

Someone in our house had a birthday yesterday ~ Daddy!!! Me and the boys wanted to make Aaron's day special so we put a note on the fridge that he would see first thing in the morning.

I found the cute printables here...please excuse my dirty fridge ~ oddly enough it doesn't look that bad in person.  So I asked the boys what they wanted to get Aaron for his birthday and Cason answered immediately "Daddy really wants a flat head screw driver"...well if that is what Cason says then Parker of course agrees and wouldn't offer any other ideas so there you have it ~ he received two flat head screw drivers from his boys.  I was able to surprise him with a night out and a great dinner thanks to my mom for watching the boys last night.  

The boys recently got new bikes that they have been practicing riding (more of this to come) and they were due for new helmets ~ so here they are modeling them for you ~

Parker's was a little big and will need to be adjusted ~ he wasn't too happy about that! 

What better way to practice writing your letters than to use side walk chalk on the fence....when I gasped and asked Parker what he was doing he replied "I's" ~ as you can tell he was practicing drawing his i's.

Sweet Baby A

Last but certainly not least is this angel ~ she is the happiest baby in the world and I had the time of my life photographing her!  She is so gorgeous just like her mommy ~ I am so excited to get to see her grow....enjoy Mags,  I love you sister!!

Little R (aka) Miss Sassy

Meet Miss R, these pictures say it all but she is SO much fun.  She is turning two this month and can carry on a conversation like an 18 year old.  I LOVE her personality (so much like her mom) and she gets those gorgeous blue eyes from her handsome daddy! I miss her already and can't wait to visit her again!  Kelly, hope you like them :)

Forrest Family~

I could write a novel on this little boy. I was able to spend some time with this sweet boy this past weekend and I would love to tell you all about him.  Not only is he such a cutie pie but he is the most caring two year old I have ever been around.  His mommy is one of my best friends and I must say he is the type of boy I want Cason & Parker to be buds with!!!! Thanks momma for letting me capture B man and your family ~ can't wait to share all the pics with you!!

First CAKE SMASH session~

Some very good friends of Aaron and I gave me the privilege of capturing their twin girls' one year celebration~ This is my first cake smash session and I plan on doing many more to come ~ of course the weather was bad so we came inside for this one.  These two cuties are so precious and it was so fun watching their little personalities and seeing how different twins can actually be.  Little K was very outgoing and all over the place while sweet A sat still almost the entire time just soaking it all in.  I can't thank their parents enough for allowing me to do this session~ Enjoy!

Dinner with friends~

I had one of the best weekends I have had in quite awhile...I got to spend it with my best friends.  I can't explain how much these girls mean to me.  These girls are the ones who were by my side during a time in my life I was trying to figure it all out and making mistakes along the way.  They are the ones who when I hear their voice on the other end of the line all stress of "life" seems to fade away.  You know those girlfriends that feel like sisters and when you get together no matter how much time has passed nothing ever changes.  We will be playing cards and drinking coffee together in 30 years.  We had a wonderful dinner together covering a full range of topics.  I am so thankful God put them in my life!! I also had the privilege of taking their kiddos photos (which I am so excited about) and will be sharing them with you very soon.

And I just had to share this photo of Margo's sweetie, baby A, because when you look at this face you know everything is okay in the world ~ LOVE HER!!

Girls just wanna have Fun~

I am so excited for this weekend I can hardly stand it!  It will involve a bit of work mixed with a lot of fun, I am traveling to OKC for 3 photo sessions and spending some quality time with three of my best friends~ Here we are this time last year ~ Kel, Mags, and Crack here I come!!!!

Toes and Gum

I will be honest, there is no "point" to this post except to give me the opportunity to share with you some of the cutest little toes in the world ~ Parker LOVES to read books or should I say loves for us to read books to him.  Me and the boys had a rough night last night.  Parker insisted on sleeping in bed with Cason and since ultimately we want them to share a bedroom we let him.  Let's just say there is going to have to be some give and take between these two before they have a successful night together...Parker likes the closet light on and Cason prefers it pitch dark, Parker sleeps horizontal in bed and Cason sleep vertical, yes, there were a few kicks to the head, and rarely Cason has to get up to pee in the middle of the night which of course is not done quietly. 

Lastly, a quick pic of my big boy just because I was playing round with my photo editing software~his daddy would not appreciate the hat but oh well....daddy wasn't home to have a say in the matter :)
